Issue 3 Is Out!

Hello Beyond the Dungeon Backers,
I'm excited to say that Issue #3 of Beyond the Dungeon has been released to the wild! Several days ago you should have gotten an email from DriveThruRPG with a link to your copy. If not let me know.
Issue #4 is in brainstorming stages. The topic is alien invasion, so I hope to include ideas for X-Files or Men in Black style campaigns, plus ideas to throw aliens into other settings a la Expedition to the Barrier Peaks.
Time estimates are a little tricky, but I hope to have issue four out by the end of the year.

Hello Beyond the Dungeon Backers,
Things have gone slower than I've liked, but I'm happy to say that issue three of Beyond the Dungeon is nearly complete! Everything is written and the art is all in. The issue is in the process of getting edited, and the last step after that is layout, so I think we should finally have this issue out to you before the end of June.
After that we'll start working on the final issue: Alien Invasion. I don't have a time table for that just yet, but I will keep you posted on its progress.
I'll leave you all with one of my favorite pieces of art from our upcoming Urban Fantasy issue: the punk pixie.

Hello Beyond the Dungeon Backers
I hope you are all doing well out there. As I'm sure you noticed we're running a behind with issue three. As I mentioned in the last update some of the freelancers fell through, so I'm scrambling to write a few last articles myself. Since this wasn't originally on my agenda, I hadn't budgeted much time for it in December or January. Now that I've wrapped up some other projects I can focus on it more and hope to get the last few articles written in February.
Release of issue three is still a bit up in the air, but I'm hoping I can get the PDF out to you all by March.

Hello Beyond the Dungeon Backers,
Just in case you missed it, Beyond the Dungeon #2 is out in PDF. You should have gotten an email from DriveThruRPG a little over a week ago. If you haven't gotten it please let me know.
I'll be ordering the proof copies for the print books later this week. If you see any typos in the book that can be fixed before the going to print, let me know that too. Then, assuming the print book comes back okay, I'll probably get the print copies out to backers at some point in December.
Meanwhile Issue #3, featuring an urban fantasy theme, is well underway. We've already got two mini-settings against in this issue, plus some fun random tables and GM advice, plus there's more in development.
I'll keep you posted as more develops.

Hello Beyond the Dungeon Backers,
As you can tell, we're well in to fall at this point (in the northern hemisphere), and Beyond the Dungeon #2 is still not out, but it is close. Everything is written and the art is in. The text is undergoing edits, and as soon as those come back it will go to layout. I expect that the PDF will be out in mid October.
As mentioned before, issue three uses some more outside writers, so there should be a smaller gap in between issues. I'd love to have that out by the end of November, but sometime in December is probably more realistic.
I'll leave you with one of my favorite pieces of art from issue two.
